Children will feel happy and respond well when an activity is conditioned in a game situation and fun. All learning in PAUD must be conditioned in a frame of "learning and playing or playing while learning" (one of the principles in PAUD). Including one of them is in introducing reading. Learning early childhood to be able to read, has long been a pro and contra conversation, related to the time or not early childhood trained to read. Although there is already a clear policy from the Circular of the Director General of Education and Culture Number: 1839 / C.C2 / TU / 2009, that early childhood education is not yet allowed to provide direct reading learning material. However, based on the current reality, there is still confusion, especially from the assistants in kindergarten (TK / RA) where the conditioning of the companion in some elementary schools so that the children of kindergarten graduates can read. Learning to read in early childhood must be stimulating, so that children are interested or happy with reading activities. So, learning early childhood by reading does not refer to the principle of requiring children to read at that age, but refers to the principle that children have Reading Interests. Thus it will deliver the companion to create a pleasant atmosphere that will stimulate children's reading interest. text
