Summary:The rapid development of devices and applications of information technology has a major impact on human lifestyles. In Indonesia, this progress provides various facilities, one of which is the payment mechanism based on electronic money to replace conventional payments through physical money. Electronic money offers many features and ease of use for transactions. Electronic money facilities are now increasingly diverse, starting from only using mobile phone applications, bar codes, and smart cards. The types of smart cards that are used are also varied, some use contact types and some use contactless types. In this research, an electronic transaction device was created with smart card contact and contactless interface. As computation processing, using Single Computer Board. Using Single Computer Board because of its small size, but has a hight processing speed and large memory. The features provided on this device are transaction menus, they are balance check menu, payment menu, and topup menu. Another additional feature is the ability to store transaction history on the server. As proof of transaction, a thermal printer is also provided. In this device also iv provides a screen that is combined with the touch panel to display transaction menus. The final results of this study are made portable transaction devices that use smart cards, provide transaction menus (check balances, fill balance, payments) that use the LCD interface with a touchscreen, and can store transaction history on the server.
