Summary:The annual rate of land subsidence for Jakarta is between 20-25 cm/year in certain location and periods. Groundwater extraction is one of the causes of land subsidence in DKI Jakarta. The main purpose from this research is to determine the correlation between landsubsidence and secondary groundwater level and to perform scenario modelling of groundwater level against landsubsidence until 2050. This study uses data from engineering geological bore log with 300 metres depth (full coring), data on subsidence from GPS measurement, data on groundwater level from monitoring well and geological cross sectional image of DKI Jakarta. Calculations with analytic and finite element method could be used and the material model is modeled by Mohr Coulumb method, so we know contributes of land subsidence in DKI Jakarta. The result of contribution from groundwater extraction in secondary aquifer is 17,711% at Rawa Buaya, 22,784 % at Marunda, and 32,621% at Parkir Jaya, in particular time. The results of the scenario model also provide information that the position of the groundwater level and the land subsidence are related.
