Summary: | Based on Rencana Usaha Penyediaan Tenaga Listrik (RUPTL) of PT PLN 2017 – 2026, there is an increase in total expenditure in Indonesia. Initially, in 2017, the total system load in Indonesia of 234 TWh will be expected to increase to 480 TWh by 2026. One of the government's efforts to overcome this problem is to build several microgrid systems in Indonesia in places that are difficult to access electricity.
Apart from bringing a lot of advantages, this microgrid system also brings problems to the electricity system in Indonesia. The first problem is that the expansion of the micro-system makes the electrical system more extensive and complex. This has an impact on the control system, the economic system that prioritizes shipping, because its nature is still centralized and must be maintained continuously manually. Then, an economic delivery system that can only consider the price function of thermal generators that function quadratically, while New and Renewable energy (EBT) which is usually available on a microgrid system provides a linear price function. This causes the need for an update on the algorithm of the existing economic delivery system. Therefore, in this study, there is a modification of the distributed economic dispatch system that uses finite-time average consensus methods and the distributed projected method.
