The construction of BTS in Indonesia is difficult because there are many demographics of regions in Indonesia that are difficult to reach, such as hilly and archipelagic regions, so that the cost of building BTS will be more expensive and takes longer. In this final project research will be measured the quality of performance of the communication system devices for rural areas which include inter-balloon performance, balloon performance to users, and between users. In the inter-balloon measurement scenario, the largest signal power level measured is -46 dBm and the minimum signal power level received by the receiving balloon is -84 dBm. In the measurement scenario between the balloon and the user, where the position of the balloon is at an altitude of 20 meters, the bandwidth generated at the measurement is 1.654 Mbps, the largest signal power level received by the user is -56 dBm, and the user can still connect with the system air balloon communication platform at a measurement distance of 123 meters with a large signal power level received at -73 dBm. In the scenario of measurement between users, users who are 70 meters apart at the time of measurement can still communicate with each other through a balloon platform communication system device. text |
