Drawing activities as one of the media for creative development are also increasingly available due to several problems such as teaching resource factors, lack of time and place in school. The specific need for extra hours through the tutoring room for creative development in drawing is one of the needs for some children who are interested in this field. The lateral thinking method was adapted into a series of creative development exercises in drawing. The purpose of this study was to find out the creative drawing method for non formal students to improve the creative process in drawing. Data collection is done by means of literature review, interviews, experiments and questionnaires. The results of a series of experimental evaluation shows that all participants are able to understand the concept of creative thinking in answering a problem of problems through images. Participant begin to understand schemes in overcoming problems. Participant who were innocent or even confused in answering questions, began to change and there was a desire to make pictures that were different from the other participants. All students experience developmental levels in evaluating collaborative creativity criteria. This becomes the conclusion of the value of creativity about trying to make something new. Then from the questionnaire evaluation, from all participants 85% said this practice went very well and 15% was good. For aspects of its usefulness, 100% of children consider this very good. Then to experience the drawing process with this lateral thinking technique the child enjoyed it, as evidenced by 57.1% judging very well and 42.9% of people judging it well. text |
