Summary:PT XYZ is a retail company that sells motorcycle driving equipment. The threat of competitiveness faced that company is getting tougher. The company also has unresolved problems. Therefore, the company need to solve problems to face the threat of competitiveness. One of the problems that will be solved is the information system used by the company is not integrated. So, there are company data that are not synchronous among divisions. Therefore, the company need to build a strategic planning information systems to resolve the threat of competitiveness. Information system planning consists of two main stages, namely identification of application components and making a development roadmap. Information system planning based on the company's strategic planning in order to be able to follow the direction of company policy in dealing with business dynamics. Identification of application components is done to fulfil the needs of the company's information system. Information system needs are obtained based on the current environmental conditions of the company. Information system needs are identified using the critical success factor method which is supported by literature studies and user validation. The results of information system requirements are arranged into the application components needed by the company. One of the challenges in adapting the results of information system needs to companies is to create an information system development roadmap based on the information systems used by the company. Determination of information system development based on the formulation of data relations between applications, dependency between application components, and adjustments to users in the company. Therefore, it can be concluded that information system planning is able to answer the problems in the company. The results obtained in this study are information system planning in accordance with company needs in the form of enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications and vendor management applications. ERP applications consist of sales modules, customer relationship management modules, production modules and materials, and financial and human resources modules. All components of the application are expected to be developed in the company in the next three years.
