Summary: | RSAU dr. M. Salamun is one of the BPJS referral hospitals in West Java. During January - August 2017, this hospital served 129,732 patients where the highest number of patient visits was in the cardiac clinic, which was 26,783 people. Based on the research of Octaviany (2017) stated that the quality of service of RSAU dr. M. Salamun has the highest negative gap in the responsiveness dimension with the most negative service attribute is waiting time. This indicates that the hospital has not been able to meet patient’s needs. The purpose of this study was to improve hospital performance in the unit of the cardiac poly and the registration unit. The method used in this study is lean hospal where improvement efforts are carried out by eliminating activities that do not provide added value for patients. Besides that, the 9E-1M operability system is used. Based on the identification of cases there were 17 cases that occurred at the registration counter, and 10 cases that occurred in the cardiac clinic. The level of severity in the risk matrix is used as a reference in determining cases prioritized for improvement. The results of the improvement show that the patient's waiting time is reduced after a continuous flow system is applied, which is from 345.55 minutes to 150 minutes. In addition to being made a repair plan, a 9E-1M study was made to ensure that improvement were carried out properly.
