Description
Summary:Gedung Ratu Plaza 2 is a shopping center in the area of Sudirman, Jakarta which is planned to be built twelve levels, consisting of eight main floors, three basement floors, and one rooftop with a visitor capacity of around 3500-4500 people. In the Ratu Plaza 2 Shopping Center building there are activities and facilities that require clean water and produce domestic waste water such as toilets, restaurants, places of worship, and gyms. To maintain the hygienic conditions of the impact of wastewater on activities in the building, it is necessary to design a waste water plumbing system. The purpose of the sewerage system design at Ratu Plaza 2 Shopping Center is to obtain an effective and appropriate waste water plumbing system design in accordance with the green building concept. The sewerage system at Ratu Plaza 2 Shopping Center uses the principle of green building where greywater and blackwater are separated based on the plumbing tool used. The design phase consists of identifying architectural images, determining piping paths, calculating debits, determining alternative designs, calculating pipe dimensions, and the results obtained. Based on the results of alternative development, there were 4 alternatives with a combination of two or three vertical pipe lines with IPAL biofilter units and Anaerobic Baffled Reactor. Based on the selection of alternatives, AC alternatives were obtained (line 2 upright pipes and Biofilter units) because they have advantages in environmentally friendly aspects. From the calculation of waste water generation based on unit fixture, it is obtained about 93 m3 / day. With the calculation of pipe dimensions between 1.5-6 inches. At the end of the plumbing system it is recommended to be processed with a biofilter unit. The life cycle principle of this design produced waste water from visitors who will be processed in the filter and become mud and odor given ven pipes so as not to interfere with the activity of the building. Water that is processed is directly discharged into city drainage. Based on the cost aspects obtained positive NPV calculation results which means the workmanship of the system is feasible..
