The objectives of this undergraduate thesis is to construct jetty and levee in Opak Estuary as the solutions of flood control in that area. Sedimentation process and jetty’s effective position was calculated manually and modelling process was technically designed using ‘Delft3D’ software. HEC-RAS software was used for the search of flood areas and estimation of inundation area. The design of flood control planning was based on topography data, rainfall data, wind data, bathymetry data, and tidal data. Flood discharge and high wave for 50 year return period were used for the calculation of constructing levee and jetty. text |
