Government of Bandung City has provided bulky waste collection services since January 2018. Bulky waste in Bandung is dominated by furniture and WEEE (electronic waste). The management of the bulky waste is reuse and the rest of it will discharged in to the landfill. Based on thesis data, the generation of bulky waste in Bandung reaches 576,149 m3/year or 27,540 tons/year (Utami, 2017) or 5% of total waste generation in the Bandung city. Bulky waste recycling facility will be built at Pasir Impun TPS which has an area 750 m2. This facility is planned to operate for 10 years (2021-2030). This facility will serve 12.2% of household in Bandung. Bulky waste that will be processed are furniture waste which is 80.4% of the total mass of bulky waste and carpet waste as much as 3.4%. Thus the total mass of bulky waste that will be processed at Pasir Impun TPS is 5.9 tons/day or 142.1 m3/day. The composition of bulky waste material is divided into five types namely wood, metal, plastic, ceramics and textiles. Plastic material consists of polypropylene plastic, acrylic and PVC, metal materials consists of iron, stainless steel and other furniture components such as nails, hinges, etc., and textile materials consists of foam, cloth and carpet. Recyclable material are metal, wood and plastic. This material is 73.6% of the mass of bulky waste namely 3.9 tons/day or 33 tons/week. Meanwhile, textile and ceramic waste will be disposed to the landfill. Bulky waste recycling facilities are divided into several zones, namely the initial acceptance zone, dismantling, shredder machine enumeration, plastic pellet making, wood pellet making and textile waste compaction. The minimum total area needed in the construction of bulky waste recycling facilities in TPS Pasir Impun with capacity of waste 5.36 tons/day is 344 m2. text
