Summary: | PDAM Tirta Lestari is a clean water suppky agency for service area Tuban District. Now, PDAM Tirta Lestari has five branch office with sixteen service unit around Tuban District. Jenu and Merakurak Subdistrict is two of twenty subdistrict in Tuban District. On Jenu subdistrict there are five villages among seventeen villages that already served with water distribution. There are six villages on Jenu subdistrict that are planned to be extend served water distribution area and three villages on Merakurak subdistrict. Beside that population growth causes water demand increase in Jenu water distribution system. Therefore, need to be optimized water distribution system to extend served area. Optimization water distribution system are based analysis existing condition water distribution system Jenu service unit, population projection, facility projection. Now, water distribution system Jenu subdistrict has raw water source from borr well in Tuwiri Wetan with 30 l/s capacity and potenson to 80 l/s. Raw water transmitted to reservoir in Suwalan village with existing volume 300 m3. In planning area year 2026, need supply water in peak hour 71,6 l/s so raw water source is still enough to handle. Water distribution system has branch pattern and debit production capacity 15 l/s. Therefore, need to be designed new reservoir also additions pumps to solve this water distribution problem in Jenu subdistrict. Alternative solution plan is done by built reservoir, vary new alternative route and add addition pumps. The total water needs in which there are domestic and non-domestic water requirements and prepared for fire hydrants and other needs, so that the amount of water produced up to 2026 is 47.7 L / sec, in 2038 it is 70.7 L / seconds. And in 2042 it was 96.9 L / sec. The chosen alternative was to design a network of clean water distribution systems with a branch pattern with the use of a volume reservoir with a volume of 1464.3 m3. The pump used is 2 poles of Closed Coupled and Standardized Centrifugal Pump EBARA type 80-250 / 40 to drain water to 70 m head requirements. The pipe used in this alternative is PVC and uses a drainage system using a pump. On alternative 1 hydraulic criteria Headloss is in the range of 3 m / km to 9.87 m / km, the pressure is in the range of 4.24 m to 81.57 m / s and speed is in the range of 0.35 m / s to 1.1 m / s. The benefits associated with the planning of the distribution system in Jenu and Merakurak District, namely this design can ensure access to clean water that meets the requirements of quality, continuity and quantity; reducing disease and increasing human productivity; increased environmental quality, increased aesthetics, and improved facilities, and environmental intrinsic value; |
