Description
Summary:Every company wants their business to run well and can survive in competition. To achieve these desires, the right strategy is needed in carrying out the business process. One of the initial approaches to carrying out this strategy is by analyzing the company's environmental factors, there are two types, namely internal and external factors. For the company's external factors, strategy analysis can use methods that exist in competitive intelligence, namely PEST and SWOT analysis. One method that focuses on external factors is a SWOT analysis using the External Factors Analysis Summary (EFAS) method. This study focuses on determining EFAS by using data from title online news as a source of opportunity and threat. EFAS is done with two main modules, namely the text mining module and priority module that uses AHP or TOPSIS algorithm. News title obtained from online sites are classified using text mining and then given priority weight using the AHP or TOPSIS algorithm. The results can be applied to EFAS using title online news. The results showed that text mining modules and priority modules can be applied to EFAS with an accuracy rate of 75%. While the experimental results of the text mining module produce the SVM algorithm as the best with 0.782 for the F-Measure value.
