Dependable discharge used for water allocation uses with an probability 80% = 51,485 m3 /s, 90% = 35,195 m3 /s, and 95% = 25,940 m3 /s. The priority order for water use is as follows, the first priority is for raw water in Merangin and Sarolangun District is 655 lt /s with a population of 282,880 people. The second priority is for irrigation needs of 20,000 ha is 323.5 m3 /s /hec for one year. The average amount of energy produced by the Merangin Dam PLTA is around 791,650 GWH / year. Simulation of flood control with HEC-HMS shows that for Q-1000 and Q-PMF discharges, it can be seen that the overflow can drain and reduce the flood crest well. Simulation of water allocation with WEAP software shows that the construction of the Merangin Dam can meet the water needs in Merangin Regency. The results of the economic feasibility calculation show that the construction of the Merangin Dam has been protected against changes in project variables such as increases in costs or decreases in income (IRR of 21.75%> 12%, NPV of 1461,064 Billion> 0, BCR of 1,386> 1.0) . text |

Merangin Dam has an important role to play in the needs of raw water, irrigation
and hydropower in the Merangin watershed, with the result that assessment of the
allocation of water in that location is very necessary. The analysis examined in this
study such as flood control with HEC-HMS, water allocation for domestic water
needs, irrigation and hydropower using WEAP software, and economic feasibility.
Dependable discharge used for water allocation uses with an probability 80% =
51,485 m3 /s, 90% = 35,195 m3 /s, and 95% = 25,940 m3 /s. The priority order for
water use is as follows, the first priority is for raw water in Merangin and
Sarolangun District is 655 lt /s with a population of 282,880 people. The second
priority is for irrigation needs of 20,000 ha is 323.5 m3 /s /hec for one year. The
average amount of energy produced by the Merangin Dam PLTA is around 791,650
GWH / year.
Simulation of flood control with HEC-HMS shows that for Q-1000 and Q-PMF
discharges, it can be seen that the overflow can drain and reduce the flood crest well.
Simulation of water allocation with WEAP software shows that the construction of
the Merangin Dam can meet the water needs in Merangin Regency. The results of
the economic feasibility calculation show that the construction of the Merangin
Dam has been protected against changes in project variables such as increases in
costs or decreases in income (IRR of 21.75%> 12%, NPV of 1461,064 Billion> 0,
BCR of 1,386> 1.0) . |
