Summary:The project is a resort located in the area of Halimun Salak Mountain National Park, Bogor Regency, West Java, precisely in District Pamijahan. This project is a fictitious with private companies engaged in hospitality, Novotel Hotel as the owner of the project. The project is built on 6.5 hectares of land and facilitates the function of accommodation in the form of a four star resort. This resort has the main function of hospitality facilities consisting of hotel rooms of 28 units and villas of 24 units. In addition to hospitality, there are several supporting facilities such as restaurant, swimming pool, spa and massage, and other outdoor facilities aimed at encouraging visitors to explore the area and enjoy the natural surroundings. Then analyzed the problems and potentials in the project related to the initiator, user, and environment. Judging from space function analysis, the total area of the design is 6,457 m2. Judging from the existing problems, main issues are chosen to be developed into the basic concept of design. The first issue is the Eco Resort, the second issue is space experience, and the third issue is enclaved tourism. Of the three issues are cross analysis to answer the problem, to create the basic concept of design, namely ‘Panoramic Vistas and Retreat to Mother Nature’. The translation of the concept is to connect nature with the senses of vision, hearing, and smell so as to bring back feelings to nature.
