SWIFT is a Gamma-Ray Burst Mission. It can observe a source in many wave-
length range from X-ray until ultraviolet. SWIFT is developed in collaboration
between UK and Italy. It was launched in Cape Canaveral, USA in November
20th 2004. SWIFT can swiftly change its direction to a gamma-ray source
within seconds hence named as a kind of bird with similar ability. SWIFT
loaded with three instruments consist of Burst Alert Telescope (BAT), X-Ray
Telescope (XRT), and lasty Ultraviolet/Optical Telescope (UVOT).
In this work a system with an ability to process observation data from
SWIFT automatically will be built. This system will use python as core pro-
gramming language then combine it with some tools from HEAsoft to build
an integrated system. A level 1 data from XRT will be processed through this
work.
Then this system will be used to process black hole binaries data based
on previous work. Bias between majority observation data and minority ob-
servation data will be compared also we will add latest data observation until
august 2014. From this comparison we nd that most of the result satisfy the
previous work however doesn't give same result as the reference. Those di-
rences occur in
ux calculation where some of the data give us a NaN result,
existence of data which has a high temperature but produce a low luminosity
hence it can't satisfy L / T4 relation, and 2
that is lower than 0.5. Overall
performace of this system is good, starting from reduction process until tting
but still further improvement for user convenience is necessary. |
