Description
Summary:Method of Moving Particle Semi-implicit (MPS) is a commonly used method to simulate fluid flow. Most of the simulations that have been carried out by the MPS method using one type of fluid. At first, the MPS method is not sufficiently stable to simulate the movement and physical reactions so that the results are not yet in a numerically stable. Along with the development of this method, the MPS has increased in terms of numerical stability, the calculation of conservation of momentum and mechanical energy and settlement solutions calculation of pressure on the system. On the other hand, the fluid is very dependent on the density and viscosity. Continuity of the process flow of two fluids to reach equilibrium is also strongly influenced by the value of the comparison of each of the two parameters. This research aims to study the two-fluid flow model using MPS method. The expected outcome of this research is to obtain relationships influence the value of the second comparison of the performance parameters of the fluid equilibrium time.
