Summary: | The construction of the apartment is planned to take place in the Alam Sutera area, Tangerang
city. The planning for apartment construction is based on technical drawing by architects with
a little revision with regard to several issues. As for this final project, the apartment design will
be planned with the emphasis in safety and comfortability. In geotechnical aspect, there will
be two main topics. They are embedded wall structure design and the design of pile group
foundation. Before focus on the two main discussions, the soil investigation is carried out first
in order to obtain the required soil parameters. The process of analizing soil data will include
several things such as boring log point mapping, determination of soil data correlations which
will be determined through the results of obtained laboratory data analysis associate with
boring log data for the purpose of obtaining characteristics of the existing soil. Furthermore, in
designing the embedded wall, the Diaphragm Wall (D-Wall) will be use. It has dualfunction.
The first one is as retaining wall it self and the second one will be as the basement wall of the
structure. In the planning process, Plaxis 8.6 software will be used in analyzing the stability of
the D-wall itself and the excavation of 3 basement floors which have a height around 10 - 13
metres. Mean while, D -wall’s detailed reinforcement will use CSI Col 8.0 software. The next
one will be deep foundation design. In group pile foundation planning, it is planned to use
bored pile with raft pile foundation as the pile group configuration which is designed to
minimize the differential settlement between the bored pile which could affect the structure.
As for the planning process, it is necessary to use Lpile v 2018, Group v 8.0 as basic software
in determining the configuration, number, and length of the group pile, while for reinforcement
detailing, SP Col 2018 software will be used. The general standard used for the above planning
are SNI 8460 2017, SNI 2847 2013 and SNI 1726 2012.
