Several ways are done to overcome the congestion that occurs in the Province of DKI Jakarta, in example, by trying to attract public interest to use public transportation during travel activities. One way to attract public interest in using public transport is to provide low cost public transportation, therefor DKI Jakarta Provincial Government launches the OKOTrip Program, an integrated public transport system program with low fare implementation. The maximum cost for OK-OTrip Program is IDR 5,000 with the use of more than one of transportation mode and for maximum travel time of 3 hours, in which expected by minimizing the cost will attract public interest to switch from using private vehicles to using public transportation, so that in the future the congestion rate in DKI Jakarta can be reduced. Low tariff in the OK-OTrip Program that charged to customer based on commitment made by DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, feared to have impact on the decline of public transport services. According to this, it deems necessary to conduct survey relating to service performance of public transport in OK-OTrip Program whether its performance is satisfactory so further improvement steps or policies may be implemented. Evaluating the performance of public transport services in the OK-OTrip Program in the South Jakarta area is the essence of this study. Public transport service performance subject for the evaluation is from output part, performance assessment conducted toward users instead of operator side. Data is obtained via static & dynamic surveys as well as interviews with Route OK-3 passengers during observation days. Refer to Directorate General of Land Transportation service standard, the analysis result shows service performance of public transport in OK-OTrip Program for South Jakarta region OK-3 Route is quite satisfactory, with the frequency and headway of public transport fleets OK-3 Route is flat or one vehicle / ± 5 minutes for weekdays and weekends, but the Load Factor is still far below 70%. Inadequate and uncomfortable public transportation, poor transport fleets, erratic
schedules of arrivals and departures, are the main reasons of people in Jakarta are
reluctant to use public transportation. Several ways are done to overcome the
congestion that occurs in the Province of DKI Jakarta, in example, by trying to
attract public interest to use public transportation during travel activities. One way
to attract public interest in using public transport is to provide low cost public

Low tariff in the OK-OTrip Program that charged to customer based on

on the decline of public transport services. According to this, it deems necessary
to conduct survey relating to service performance of public transport in OK-OTrip
Program whether its performance is satisfactory so further improvement steps or

services in the OK-OTrip Program in the South Jakarta area is the essence of this
study.
Public transport service performance subject for the evaluation is from output
part, performance assessment conducted toward users instead of operator side.

OK-3 passengers during observation days. Refer to Directorate General of Land
Transportation service standard, the analysis result shows service performance of
