| Summary: | Flood disaster that occurred in Pasteur and Pagarsih Area in 2016 has caused loss
of resources and interrupted city activities in Bandung. The disaster was carried
out by various factors in the Citepus Watershed Area. The Citepus Watershed area
is part of the cross-border administrative river flow system. The handling of floods
in the Citepus River Basin area is very frequent, however, the problem of flooding
continues to occur. As an effort to cope with flooding, a flood disaster mitigation
planning is needed in the related area. This then prompted the need to identify the
contributory factors profile of the flood disaster and the risk level of the flood
disaster. The selected study area is Citepus Watershed Area located in Bandung
City. In this research, there are 3 components contributing factors of flood disaster
that establish risk. These components are hazards, vulnerabilities, and capacities.
In addition, the flood disaster risk level is obtained based on hazard and
vulnerability variables in each sub-districts. This research found that Astanaanyar
and Sukajadi sub-districts are areas with very high flood disaster risk in Citepus
Bandung Watershed area proven by scoring analysis. |
