The direct inqiact due to the congestkm eiqierimced by road users is making consunqition of fuel and travel time eiqierienced by road users. Bandung, as one of the major cities in Indonesia, has a serious congestion problems. Roads are congested increasingly. Various attempts have been made to resolve the issue. But until now die congestion is still one of the problems experienced by the user community in urban areas. This study examines the problems of congestion, particularly issues losses / costs experioiced by road users. Research conducted in Jalan Soekamo Hatta road between intersections Mob. Toha the intersection Pasir Koja, which consists of 3 (three) segments, Moh. Toha - Cibaduyut segment, Cibaduyut - Kopo segment, and Kopo - Pasir Koja segment. Components of congestion costs are taken into account in this study is die vdticle operating costs and travel time value. The ressult showed congestion cost experioiced by the vehicle through each segment during the 12 hours of research (06.00 - 18.00) is Moh Toha - Cibaduyut segm^t Rp. 59.765.272, Cibaduyut - Moh. Tdia segment Rp.77.678.672, Cibaduyut - Kopo segment Rp. 109.225.398, Kopo - Cibaduyut segment Rp. 73.421.072, Kopo - Pasir Koja segment Rp. 34.437.869, Pasir Koja - Kopo segment Rp. 33.612213. These results provide a signal to all stakeholders, especially the city government to start paying attention to the road paformance. Required solutions include traffic sigineering mmures and policy restrictions on the use of private vehicle and public transport fecility improvements.
