Cogasification of lignite and EPFB is present as a production of energy sources that aim to get a synergistic effect. However, not all cogasification results better quality from fuel parent gasification product (high H2 yiled). Alkali and alkaline earth metals in biomass gives synergistic effect on cogasification product while silica and alumina in coal inhibits catalytic effect of it. Both elements can be minimized through the demineralization process using acid leaching.
