Description
Summary:Offshore pipeline is the necessary equipment for trasmission of oil and gas between the offshore facilities. Lifting activities near offshore platform will emerge risk due to impact load on pipeline which is laid at surrounding of platform. Risk assessment and analysis must be carried out to acknowledge whether the risk level is acceptable or not. In this final project, the methodology of risk analysis consist of two main step, they are calculation of impact energy and risk assessment. Calculation process will be carried out by Numerisk, risk software that has been developed. If risk result doesn’t comply risk criteria, risk mitigation is to reduce risk level until it is complied acceptance criteria (DNV OS F101). Mitigation analysis consist of choosing and calculation thickness of pipeline protection and also safe distance from lifting activity to pipeline. The result show that two pipeline (16”gas WPN2 & 22” oil MWPN) have medium-high risk level whereas other pipeline have acceptable risk level. Risk mitigation is to choosing proportional protection for pipeline and determine safe distance between maximum movement of crane swing radius to pipeline. The thickness of concrete coating that protects each pipelines are 55 mm and safe distances are more than 9 m from initial point of drop.
