Every production element on the system was given the autonomy to do several function like monitoring, decision making, controlling and communication each others. The coordinator job is to coordinate decision make by every production elements so that the decision taken by a production element do not had a conflict with another production element. ADiMS concept can be use on production scheduling. Production scheduling has a number of production elements where each of production elements can make their own decision based on some criteria and coordinate it through coordinator. To make it easier when the decision should be taken need to be made the production scheduling software. The first step is to make a model of production scheduling system base on object oriented programming. Then every production element is given autonomy and distributed job based on designed algorithm. Production scheduling software is consist of some supporting element. Process and production facilities model is some of the element. Process model is use to determine processes that can be done by the company and also to determine process routing. Production facilities model has a function to manage the production facilities owned by the company. text |
