The X -ray d i ffraction characterization results shows the decreasing of lattice parameters a and c on surface-mod i fied Ti01 and the increasing of lattice parameters a and c on Cu" and Fe' -doped Ti02 compared to the pure Ti02. The reduction in Ti01 (3.1 6 eV) band gap energy due to doping is greater than surface modification. The photocatalytic test was carried out on the degradation of Methylene Blue and Bromothymol Blue under UV and visible light. The best photocatalytic performance were obtained by Ti02. surface-mod ified Ti02. and doped Ti02. respectivel y. Among all modified Ti02, surface modified Ti02 with Cu2 has the best photocata l ytic acti vity to degrade Methy lene Blue under UV light (k = 23,7 x 10•3 minute•1) and visible l i ght (k = I , I x I o•3 minutes•1 ) as well as Bromot hymol Blue degradati on under uv light ( k = 3,6 X I o•' minutes- 1).
