VON NEUMANN-JORDAN CONSTANT FOR `p(R) AND Lp(R)

Von Neumann-Jordan constant for Banach space X, denoted by CNJ (X), is a constant that measures uniformly nonsquareness of Banach space X. In this thesis we discuss von Neumann-Jordan constant for `p(R) and Lp(R). We obtain that CNJ (`p(R)) is equal to CNJ (Lp(R)).
