it must be prepared to face the challenges and changes ahead. All SOEs employees have the
responsibility to develop their capabilities in accordance with the challenges. Management of
human resources must be one of the focuses of SOEs. PT. Len Industri (Persero) - (LEN) is
one of state-owned enterprise (SOE) engaged in the field of industrial electronics. LEN
conducts business transformation become an System Integrator Company. LEN certainly has
a Knowledge Management Program that has been regulated in company rules, which needs to
be measured the maturity level so that the company can determine the appropriate
implementation strategy so it can be in line with SOE Ministry program.
Research is aimed to get the solution of the problems that exist in ICTN business unit is mainly
related to quality of work in project implementation, though Knowledge Management
approach. The impact of this wrong project management greatly affects the company. In this
research, the method will used to collect data are qualitative and quantitative method. The APO
KM Assessment is used as questionnaire tool to identifies area of strength and area for
improvement. The qualitative research is done through in-depth interview in order to gain
empirical information from key personalities of ICTN Business Unit.
KM Implementation plan is proposed as the business solution, this is based on the results
obtained from quantitative and qualitative method. Based on Interview, basically all ICTN
management has implemented the Knowledge Management concept in their respective
working units. Researcher found out that KM practice on ICTN was carried out spontaneously
and not systematically. From the 7 categories of APO KM Assessment, ICTN Business Units
have the lowest scores in the Knowledge Process category. This shows that knowledge
management has not become part of the organization's strategy, and is only used as a tool to
facilitate the implementation of work, not as a new culture of the organization |
