Summary: | Cimahi has activities in the industrial sector that have a high potential for serious air problems, one of the problem is the exhaust gas Carbon Monoxide (CO) from coal combustion. CO in high concentrations can cause health problems. The conditions of meteorological parameters in different seasons will affect the distribution of CO gas concentrations. Data processing was conducted using Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) method to analyze the effect of seasonal factors on meteorogical parameters, such as speed and wind direction, temperature, humidity, and rainfall in the transition season I and rainy season. In addition, FLUENT models are used for dispersion modelling to see the characteristics of the plume. Based on the results of observations, the meteorological parameters that have the most influence on the dispersion of CO gas emissions is temperature with positive correlation value with CO concentration. Wind speed also has a positive value with CO gas concentration, but humidity and rainfall has a negative correlation value with CO gas concentration. The FLUENT modeling results show plume type characteristics for weak wind conditions tend to form fanning type and for strong wind conditions tend to be looping type.
