Unfortunately, women in Indonesia have low level of financial literacy and financial inclusion which makes Indonesia women do not utilize financial product effectively. Meanwhile, financial literacy and financial inclusion gives women various advantages. This problem become a concern due to the role of women in both economy and social are very vital. Thus, this study analyzes the impact of community-based training toward financial literacy and financial inclusion intention level toward middle-up income women in Bandung. The middle-up income women in Bandung are chosen as women lives in urban area have the advantages to use the various financial inclusion facilities and they have more resources to do saving and investing. Moreover, community-based training is applied as women more open to discussion and learn more effective through community consist of their friends and relatives therefore, arisan being selected as the community. This research aims to: (1) measure the level of financial literacy and financial inclusion intention among women in Bandung who are arisan member, (2) examine does group training through arisan able to increase the financial literacy level among middle-up women in Bandung, (3) examine the influence of the community-based training, toward the level of financial inclusion intention level of middle-up women in Bandung incorporated in arisan. To measure the financial literacy and financial inclusion intention level, the simple weighted average method is utilized. In order to see whether community-based training is statistically significant to the change of financial literacy and financial inclusion intention, MANOVA and paired sample t-test are being utilized. The findings show that community-based training does have positive impact in increasing financial literacy level and financial inclusion intention among middle-up income women in Bandung. Moreover, to see the effect of demographic factor toward financial literacy and financial inclusion changes, the score of financial literacy and financial inclusion after the training then, OLS regression is being performed and shows that education level is the most significant determinant toward financial literacy score after the training (significant level at 1%). According to the findings, this study suggest that the community-based training can be developed to be one of OJK program as the alternatives to increase financial literacy and financial inclusion level. Moreover, this study could be re-constructed by changing the type of community or the object to women in a rural area with middle-low income to see whether the community-based training can bring positive impact toward financial literacy and financial inclusion intention for them or not. text
