Summary: | Nowadays air transportation services demands are increasing. For businessmen who have high mobility, common air transportation services might not fulfill their demands. Aviation company could develop a new air transportation service, such as Fractional Aircraft Ownership (FAO). FAO is an aircraft joint ownership system that divide utilization based on bought share. Different from common airlines, flights in FAO are based in the demands of the owners of FAO. The demands have to be submitted at the start of the month, with details of the departure time, departure city, and also the arrival city. Each owner of FAO do their flights privatey, not joined by other owners. The contract period of FAO system is 5 years. During that period, unexpected cases might happenned and they are unavoidable, such as the reduction of operational cost to fulfill the demands of owners and also flights delay, and of course there has to be an adjustment. In this final thesis, the appliance of fuzzy linear programming is used to make an adjustment from the reduction of operational cost and flight time hours. The adjustment could be in a form of flight cancellation of owners’ demands. |
