Summary:One of the reasons that causes flight get delayed may due to ground handling services. Ground handling refers to the wide range of services that facilitate an aircraft when it is on the ground. The services include both customer service and ramp service function. Since the services can be considered as a series of tasks that need to be completed, an analysis must be carried out to investigate a critical path of the task series that causes a delayed problem. In this final project, a critical path analysis of ground handling is studied. To facilitate the uncertainty of activity duration, the fuzzy concepts are conducted. We apply LR-Representation as a mapping function of the membership fuzzy number, and four defuzzification methods are chosen such as the first of maxima, the middle of maxima, the last of maxima, dan the centroid. Beside using four defuzzification methods, we use Yager index ranking and project evaluation and review technique (PERT) in order to determine the activity duration. Furthermore, we examine relations between the aircraft types and its critical path by using methods above.
