Summary:Optimization is the process of finding the best solution of a problem in various fields. The best method to find a global optimal solution is the metaheuristic method. The metaheuristic method is a method developed from the heuristic method which looks for a solution through trial and error, hence this method can find an optimal solution in a relatively fast amount of time and guarantee the optimization of the solution. One of the more recent metaheuristic methods is the Moth-Flame Optimization (MFO) method, developed by Seyedali Mirjalili in 2015. Moth-Flame Optimization is a metaheuristic method inspired by the flight path of a moth during its navigation. In this final assignment, modelling and solving several real optimization problems will be done using the Moth-Flame Optimzation method.
