Inthisreduction,theinfectionrateisreplacedwithatimedepen- dentcoecienttoaccommodatetheunknownenvironmentalfactors.Further, byuseofspiraldynamicoptimization,theinfectionratesforbothcitiesare obtained. Withthenumericalresultsofinfectionrates,comparationofthe patterns andperiodsoftransmissionareshown.Fromtheanalysisoncorre- lation betweenclimatologydata,incidencedata,andtheresultinginfection rates, itisshownthatthetime-lagsbetweenhumidityandincidenceare5 weeksinSemarangand7weeksinMalang.Thetime-lagbetweenresulting infection ratesanddengueincidencedatais4weeksinbothcities. text
