The foundations are designed as drilled shafts (bored piles), spanning 0.8 meters in diameter and 30 meters in length. The design ensures that the axial and lateral capacity of the piles are adequate to resist service and seismic loads. Other aspects such as lateral deformations, settlement and differential settlement are also considered. Diaphragm wall supported with ground anchor is designed as the earth retaining structure in the project. They are designed to satisfy safety factors and allowable lateral deformations stated in the design code (SNI 8460-2017). The wall is 6.3m-deep, 0.6m-thick and has a penetration depth of 18 m. The wall is supported by a ground anchor system with free length and fixed length of 8 m each. The 5 15-mm strain tendons are prestressed with a prestressing force of 400 kN/m. text
