Batu Karas beach is an area located in Batukaras Village, Cijulang District, West Java. This beach is known for its natural beauty, especially the wave conditions loved by domestic and foreign surfers. Batu Karas area is also one of the project that will be developed by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and will be named as one of the tourist destinations in West Java. Design of the resort in this area is one of the stimulants to accommodate the community's needs for recreational facilities, interaction, fun education and also become a form of appreciation for the beauty of marine tourism in the Batu Karas Beach Area. The design of this resort is expected to be able to increase the value of the region and to accommodate the surfers and communal communities for residential needs as well as a means to carry out tourism activities. In carrying out the design there are several issues that are trying to be answered, namely the use and efficiency of energy performance of the resort area, the experience of space (ambience) presented to visitors and the issue of green architecture where the region is still able to support sustainable architectural aspects. The major title for the design concept itself is called “ eco-wild living “, where the area is expected to be able to carry out the lifestyle of the surfing community and provide special ambience for visitors with a communal lifestyle preference.
