Summary: | Environmental problems are currently being discussed, according to a report from the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) that carbon dioxide concentrations rose from 1880 to 278 ppm (430 million ppm) in 2016. The current effort is to slow down rising numbers of greenhouse gas emissions. This encourages people to be aware of the use of environmentally friendly materials that are becoming popular among the public, with the emergence of reusable products that replace disposable products until the application of natural materials to disposable products. Therefore, research is needed to make alternative materials that are natural and easily produced. One of them is a material made from cellulose bacteria which is used as an alternative natural material, namely Scoby Leather. This material is referred to as Victimless Leather. To be applied to functional products that are environmentally friendly, ethical, and have a circular life cycle. |
