Summary: | This paper explains about structural design of earthquake-resistant stadium
which is quite massive and has some unique characteristics. The structural design
itself is based on architect’s drawings. To make the earthquake-resistant structure,
the stadium will be designed using multiple system of Special Moment Resisting
Frames (SRPMK) and Structural Shearwall (SDS). The design process will be
based on earthquake resistance code such as SNI 1726:2012, and RSNI 1726:2018
also on the building code such as SNI 2847:2013, SNI 1727:2013, and SNI
1729:2015. The scope of design is centered to reinforced concrete structure and
steel truss structure.
The detailed designs of structural elements are based on structural
modelling and analysis using ETABS 2016 and SAP2000 v20. In addition, another
design software such as SPColumn and SAFE 2016 will be needed. The structural
element must be designed to meet the requirements to withstand the forces derived
from dead load, superimposed dead load, working live load, and earthquake load.
Deformations occurred must also meet the requirements standards for the
maximum deformations.
