Therefore, the lower structure must be able to withstand and transfer the working load from the upper structure. there are various of lower structure, for example foundations and retaining walls. This final project discusses the design of retaining wall and drilled foundations in Joyoboyo Stadium, Kediri. The stages of this final project divided into two groups, the first part is the design of the pile foundation and the second part is the design of retainin wall. The stages for the design of drilled foundation is by interpret the given soil data accordance to laboratorium and field test. The next step is to determine the dimension of drilled foundation according to the load from the upper structure. analytic method is used to to determine the capacity of the drilled foundation. Beside the capacity of the drilled foundation, the foundation system must fullfill the settlement requirments. The settlement that occurs in the foundation system is elastic settlement dan consolidation settlement. Elastic settlement can be determine by t-z dan Q-z curve with “Group Pile” analysis. Consolidation settlement can be determine by calculating the increasing pressure according to the bousiness method. The stages of the final project for retaining wall structures is by interpret the soil data. The next step is by determine the load for the retaining structures and depth of penetration of retaining structures. Rigorous method is used to determine the depth of penetration of diapgram wall. The disadvantages of rigorous method is this method do not consider the deflection of the diaphgram wall. Deflection of the diapgram wall is calculated by “Plaxis 2D”. Diaphgram wall reinforcement by anchor or combining the diaphram wall with the slab will be consider in this project. Based on safety factor dan deflection requirments. Combining the diapgram wall with the slab will be used in this project. Based on the step of design of foundation and diapgram wall. There is 9 type of foundation in east stand, 9 type of foundation in south stand, 11 type of foundation in north stand and 9 type of foundation in west stand. The type foundation is based in the dimension of pile cap and the depth of the foundation. There is 3 type of diaphram wall in this project based on the soil layers. The height of the diapgram wall is 8.5 meter for north stand, 13 meter for west and east stand and 10 meter for south stand. text |
