Bangka Belitung Islands Province is a province consists of 2 significant main islands, named Bangka Island and Belitung Island. Bangka Belitung Province is surrounded by the sea so that the tidal phenomenon becomes very important. This study aims to determine the tidal parameters obtained from tidal observations that will be presented in the form of tidal maps and later can be utilized by tin miners to carry out exploration and exploitation of tin on Bangka Island. The data used is secondary data. This study will focus on observing tides on Bangka Island. Tidal data management will use Matlab software with the least square method, then the making of tidal map is solved by plotting and interpolating using ArcGIS. The tidal map provides information about co-tidal, where the co-tidal consists of co-range and co-phase. Co-tidal maps are based on the four main tidal harmonic constituents, named M2, S2, K1, and O1. The tide prediction presented in the form of a tidal map will be useful for exploration and exploitation of tin on Bangka Island. With the existence of a tidal map, it can be seen the tidal characteristics of Bangka Island and also the tide time of each region. It is expected that PT Timah can obtain optimal mining results and also minimize the cost of renting dredgers with the operating hours of dredgers refers to tidal maps.
