Statistics Indonesia is one of the institutions responsible for collecting data. The data collection process commonly carried out through survey. To date, there exist several modes for survey data collection. They are Pen and Paper Interviewing (PAPI), Computer Assisted Telephone (CATI), Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI), and Computer Assisted Web Interviewing (CAWI). The implementation of those modes are still carried out separately depend on the purposes and circumstances. Occasionally, certain conditions rise where the data collection activities in a survey need the collaboration between those several modes. The current solution for these conditions is to develop various different systems and divide the respondent into the appropriate system. This certainly reduces the flexibility of the data collection activities. Moreover, a separate system is created for each survey. Therefore, a data collection system platform which integrates several data collection modes is required. The purpose of this research is to design a computing service platform for data collection system in order to create the process of data collection with several integrated modes. The designing process of the platform utilizes microservice as an architecture to improve availability of the services. This research uses Service Computing System Engineering as a framework in the designing process. text |
