Description
Summary:Due to the increasing number of offices in Jakarta Selatan and the inevitable jam which often occurs afterwork put much pressure to the employees. Therefore, PT Bakrieland Development, Tbk as a developer, initiates to create a place for the employees to relieve stress from working and as an escape place to avoid traffic jam; also to continuing the previous successful project that had been built, which is Plaza Festival located in Kuningan which is also one of many swamped office district. This place is designed to unite three most employee-favored activites, which are shopping, relaxation, and recreation. Besides the employees, this place is also meant for the residents who live around the site. This project would be built on K3-category sub-block in Setiabudi Distict. The sub-block itself is 32.750 m2 in size and get a tiny lake plus mini-forest in it. Due to the commercial typology, the city regulation limits the design area to only 40% of its area. Hence, the space left is just around 13.102 m2. Through the analytic process, there are three main issues to keep an eye on which are experience, circulation, and connectivity issues, which conclude to the main concept ‘Beyond Habits’. This concept is chosen to tell stories to the users which is a contrast environment from the usual habits done daily by working in the office.
