Summary: | Congestion that occurs in urban areas is a serious matter that needs to be addressed. One reason is the limited parking space. ITB Ganesa is located in Bandung faces the same problem so it tries to find a solution to this problem. The research conducted in this bachelor thesis is aimed at the construction of an intelligent parking system that will be an additional feature on the ITB campus map website. Smart parking system built using CCTV surveillance analysis with image smoothing algorithm with Gaussian technique, edge detection with Laplace operator, and testing the presence of objects in parking lots using the threshold values observed. The smart parking system architecture proposed includes the transformation of parking lot coordinates from the camera system to the ground system, CCTV surveillance analysis to determine parking lot status information and the construction of online map-based parking system applications. The accuracy of the parking system algorithm built is at 85%. Based on the architectural design made, the ITB Ganesa is in infrastructure not yet ready to build a smart parking system proposed in this final project, because existing CCTV cameras cannot monitor all parking lots. |
