INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/39463 E-learning system has been widely used as an independent learning tool. Based on observations and interviews conducted, it was found that the existing e-learning software still has some disadvantages in terms of the user interface and user experience. Therefore, in this final project, the interaction design and interface are developed by considering all the disadvantages and advantages that can be found in existing related software. User-centered design approach is used to develop interaction designs because of the learning process itself is certainly different for each user. This approach focuses on the goals and needs of users in using software. The main objective to be achieved from this final project is to produce interaction design in Japanese e-learning that is suitable with the usability goal and user experience. The usability goals and user experience used are easy to learn, easy to remember how to use, effective, helpful, and satisfying. The final result of this final project is a high-fidelity prototype on Android platform developed using Android Studio. The prototype development process is also accompanied by usability testing of the prototype to find out whether the interaction design created is in accordance with the goals and needs of the user. In addition, usability testing is also conducted to determine whether all usability goals and user experience have been achieved. Respondents from the test are a group of people who are in accordance with the target user that has been made. The test results show that the interaction design in the software is pretty good and appropriate. This is proven by the high level of success in working on the task and the usability goals and user experience that have been achieved. text
