To avoid the danger of corrosion, special material that has good corrosion resistance such as UNS N06625 or commonly known as Inconel 625 is needed. The utilization of UNS N06625 material in some components must pass a certain fabrication process such as cold rolling process which can provide plastic deformation . But the process can reduce corrosion resistance, especially localized corrosion such as crevice corrosion. To determine the effect of cold rolling process on crevice corrosion resistance and changes in the value of Critical Crevice Temperature (CCT), we carried out corrosion testing by immersion test in a ferric chloride solution for 72 hours on each sample based on ASTM G48 D standard. The test was carried out on samples with the thickness reduction of 0%, 50%, 60%, and 70%. The testing temperature used in this research were 35?C, 45?C, 55?C, and 65?C. The results show that the CCT value for 0%, 50%, 60%, and 70% thickness reduction is 60-65?C, 45-50?C, 40-45?C, and 30-35?C. From the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that the crevice corrosion resistance in UNS N06625 material decreases as the percentage of thickness reduction and the increase of temperature. text |

Corrosion phenomenon is a serious problem because the costs incurred due to corrosion in various sectors are very high, especially for the corrosion that caused by localized attacks such as crevice corrosion.
