| Summary: | In the process of emergency labor where the pregnant woman is no longer possible to be taken to the maternity clinic or hospital, then the thing to do is to call health workers to carry out delivery at the place where the pregnant woman is located, so that the delivery is done outside the Health Service Facility. Labor done outside the Health Service Facility has limitations in terms of equipment and facilities, so there are some risks such as the position of labor that is not ideal. Positions that are often used are supine (lithotomy) or squatting, where the positions have their own risks. The position of the body during labor can affect the intensity of pain during labor, because each position has its own advantages and disadvantages to the physiological condition of the mother and the smooth process of labor. Therefore, giving birth in an ideal position is very important to reduce the intensity of pain during labor. Therefore this study will focus on analyzing ideal labor positions and the solution to how pregnant woman which giving birth outside the Health Care Facility can give birth in an ideal position so that they can reduce labor pain. |
