Coal is more often used than other energy because coal in Indonesia is very abundant. In its application, coal is often used as the main fuel to produce electricity through the PLTU. But in the process the PLTU has problems with the waste produced from the coal burning process, one of which is Fly Ash. Fly Ash is one of the wastes from the coal combustion process which is quite dangerous because Fly Ash contains a lot of heavy metals in it. One of the biggest power plants that began to maximize the potential of Fly Ash was the Paiton PLTU, Probolinggo, East Java, namely by cooperating with PT Semen Indonesia. However, other alternatives are still needed to process Fly Ash which is not small in number and is produced regularly by the PLTU. Fly Ash can be applied as a safe household product and has other economic opportunities. The use of Fly Ash is certainly not easy and cannot be done by just anyone. One way to overcome the abundant amount of Fly Ash is to stabilize Fly Ash using cement. This method is proven safe for processing Fly Ash which is classified as B3 waste. By making Fly Ash as a mixture of concrete, this material can be used as a raw material for making products. This scientific work covers the physical properties of concrete mixtures and Fly Ash as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the characteristics of bagasse waste, from the characteristics found can be defined as opportunities or potential that can be developed as the basic material for product design. The development of raw materials for outdoor furniture is a development that is quite appropriate and has unique potential to be developed because of the suitability of the characteristics of the concrete mixture material and Fly Ash which has strength, durability, environmental friendliness, and easy to clean. This research is expected to have a better impact on the development of concrete mixtures and Fly Ash. text
