Citraland Bagya City Culinary Area is a culinary area located in a newly developed housing, Citraland Bagya City, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. As an independent city developed by Ciputra Group, Citraland Bagya City must have facilities to support the establishment of a city, such as hospitals, schools, offices and others. A culinary area is an important facility to build in this new housing estate. Besides meeting the culinary needs of the residents, this particular culinary area is also developed to attract the people around Citraland Bagya City to come and enjoy the culinary of Medan. In the design of this culinary area, there are several important issues to be solved such as ambience, thermal comfort, and permeability. These issues are generated from the analysis of the site and users of the project. These three issues then form a great concept in the design of this culinary area. The concept of this project is Culinary Stroll. This particular concept makes a culinary place not only a place to enjoy culinary, but also presents a recreational atmosphere to the visitors while looking for their own culinary need. The big concept is applied on the circulation of the visitors. The circulation is designed not to be monotonous for the visitors. Furthermore, various spots are well-designed so that visitors may enjoy different views while exploring this culinary area.
