Description
Summary:Many cases of heart activity monitoring require long duration of monitoring, and not everyone can be monitored statically with the relatively big standard electrocardiography (ECG) devices. The needs are increasing for a wearable monitoring device that still compromise the comprehensiveness of standard ECG, and could be integrated with internet of things in its telemedicine application. In this final project, we integrate ECG acquisition and preprocessing chip (ADAS1000) and microcontroller processing the signals (STM32F4) with transmission to smartphone via Bluetooth and cloud service via wireless network. Preprocessing of acquired signals is implemented by setting various register address value representing specific functions of the chip. Wearability is achieved via 10x10 cm2 system size worn on user’s side, and adjustment of register address values results in desired ECG signal specification.
