Summary: | The project designed is a part of hotel typologies and brought the concept of glamour camping
eco-resort. The background of this project is because the lack of hotel accommodation facilities
compared to the number of tourists coming to Puncak, Bogor. In addition, the selection of eco-resort
project aims to maintain the function of land as a water-catchment area, which often ignored by
developers of hotel and villa at Puncak.
The project designed on a land area of 49.500 sqm or 4.95 ha which includes the function of
reception, accommodation with 20 units of villa, recreation, restaurant, and service that integrate each
other and maximizing the potential of the area, especially the pine forest. Accomodation facility
consists of 20 units of villa that has 3 different types, Standard Treehouse with one bedroom, Deluxe
Treehouse with one bedroom and living room, and Suite villa with two bedroom and private pool.
The general concept of this project based on three main issues, namely tranquility, locality, and
land conservation, which later became the basic of glamping concept to respond the issues. Glamping
encourages visitors to enjoy the atmosphere and the natural potention without neglecting their
privacy and the quality of service. Glamping concept will minimize the impact of development to
environment as well because the existing environment will be preserve as much as possible. The
locality at this resort shown by the use of bamboo and wooden materials as both ornaments and
building structures, also by adapting the concept of Sundanese architecture “Panempatan” to the
buildings and site arrangement. |
