Description
Summary:With the advancement of technology, trend to use electronic document is increasing each day. But there’s time where physical document usage cannot be avoided. As forging documents becomes cheaper it could increase the potential of document forgery. With that in mind, the need to create a better process or method which can guarantee the authentication of physical document arises. One of the methods that can be used is using digital signature On this research, a method to secure a document using digital signature and turn it into twodimensional medium will be developed. The method will be able to ensure the authenticity, integrity and non-repudiation aspect of the documents. The method developed will turn digital signature into QR Code that will be attached on the original document. Having limited capacity on QR Code proven to be it’s weakness in case document input is too long. The method that will be developed will combine compression technique and will create one digital signature per page to solve the capacity limitation problem. According to the research and testing, can be concluded that the system that has been created able to ensure the authenticity, integrity and non-repudiation aspect of the documents and able to solve the capacity limitation problem of the QR Code.
